Penny was born and grew up in North Wales. She studied Art and photography at Wrexham Art College gaining a Foundation in Art & Design. She then went on to study Graphic Design at Newport, South Wales. Later she retrained gaining a BSc in Biochemistry and a PGc in Biomedical Science and worked as a scientist for 20 years, but still keeping the interest in art and photography.
She currently concentrates on photography, with her images being accepted into both national and international exhibitions. Penny gained the LRPS (Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society) qualification in 2008 and the CPAGB (Credit of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) in 2014. She has been a member of Conwy Camera Club for 10 years. Penny's greetings cards are currently for sale in various shops, cafes and galleries in North Wales.
